Today’s strategy…

 

One of the most productive strategies for producing new

clients is to offer them something of value – repeatedly!

 

It is said that it takes a MINIMUM of eight contacts for a

prospect to become a client.

 

Don’t give up just because you are not getting immediate

results.

 

It amazes me when I have a coaching client who mails a few

pieces, doesn’t get any results to speak of, and wants to

abandon the whole thing and move on.

 

Yes, you want to test.  Yes, you want to watch your numbers. 

But if you are moving into a new market or expanding your

territory, it won’t happen overnight.

 

Now granted, I’ve been giving you some killer ways to up

your responses recently, but some markets just need more

caressing.

 

The corporate market is a wonderful example.  You can’t

expect to post a web-site, mail out a couple hundred mailers

and expect to start rolling in the gigs.

 

You are new to them and you have to earn their trust.

 

That’s why I purposely stay VERY consistent with this market. 

Schools are the same way.

 

I have very strong materials and more importantly, I “touch”

them very often.  They know who I am.  Eventually, they feel

as if they really know me.  This is all very much on purpose.

 

It’s all about trust and consistency!

 

Remember what I started with today; offer them something of

value – repeatedly!

 

Here’s a wonderful tactic I use ALL the time:

 

1)  Offer a fr*ee report

 

2)  Offer it again

 

3)  Send it to them whether they request it or not as a “nice”

thing to do.

 

As long as your report has good content that they care about,

it is very well received and you become a “nice guy” in their

eyes.  Someone who is on their side.  A friend.

 

And isn’t that what this is all about anyway? 

 

Sure, we all want to book shows, but it’s more important

that you provide a SERVICE for your community.

 

Taking this position will set you miles ahead of any

so-called competition and will reflect in your bank

account!
