I really hope you are following along here.  It is so vitally

important and I am giving you a system that has worked

for me for years.  Don’t underestimate how powerful it is. 

Of course, I can’t force you to do anything.  But if you don’t

do it, please don’t email mid-year asking me how the heck

I’m getting so much done and doing so well. 

This is THE answer!

So, we have a list of dreams at this point.  We have checked

for contradictions and run some numbers to see if it’s doable

and how. 

You should have a good idea of where you’re headed.

Now we get down to putting it all into play.

A few other important questions to ask yourself at this point…

1)  Where did I make my biggest profit last year & how?

2)  Where did I feel at my best last year? 

3)   What did I enjoy the most last year?

Granted, these are questions you probably asked yourself

at the beginning of the process, but they are worth

re-visiting again at this point.

The absolute best scenario is to have the same answer to

all of these questions!!!!

That is a guaranteed success!  I am blessed to be there. 

I love school shows and I love doing theater shows. 

They also happen to be my most profitable and where I feel

at my best.  So you can see where I’m headed.

These will be my priorities this year.  They are my primary

markets.

However, because of my other goals, there is a slight problem. 

In order to hit my financial goal this year using just these

two markets I would have to radically expand my geographic

market.  My financial goal is very aggressive.

But I’m not willing to do that because of my priorities to my

kids, friends and other civic work I’m committed to (all

part of my relational and spiritual goals).

So I will have to do some other things.  Remember synergy

though.  I don’t want to start some new business that will

take the focus off my primary markets.

One obvious and easy objective is to make more at each

one of these I perform.  That is already in place with BOR

and some other ideas I’m launching to draw more money

out of each event.  These are goals with very immediate

deadlines.

The next step is to figure out where the rest of the income

is going to come from.  Remember, I only have 275 days

to work with and I’m not foolish enough to think that I’ll

be booked each of those days with these two markets in

close range to my home base.

The other venues I love are festivals, churches, summer

camps, libraries, cub scouts and some corporate work. 

Now we’re talking.  I can easily get very close to my

financial goals by simply adding these synergistic markets. 

I run the numbers again and I am very, very close! 

(yippee!)

I am staying true to my passions.  I am in line with my

other goals.  I am very close to my financial goal. 

Now I go to my calendar.  I get a big ole’ wall calendar

from Staples.   One that is laminated and accepts dry-erase

markers.

The system is about to come into play and I will set exact

dates for attacking the markets I need to make my money in.

I will show you exactly how that plays out tomorrow. 

(January 1^st is the perfect time for this one!)

**Note:  I am not sharing everything with you here.  I am

sharing all ofmy professional goals with you, however. 

The other ones are personal and should be.  Yours are too.

Just don’t forget them because I’m not bringing them up. 

They are a very integrate part of my calendar too.  I am also

not getting into the whole information marketing stuff that

I do (what I do for you guys).  First of all, it’s not a huge

income source, but it is one. 

Secondly, although it’s very synergistic because I document

what works for me and share it with you, it is a different

subject than this format can handle.  I don’t think many of

you are interested in it and it would be confusing to add.

Also, I will not be sharing my exact financial goals at this

level.  The Mastermind Group is privy to this because we’re

doing it together.  I will tell you, however, that it is very

aggressive.

And VERY important – I know exactly what I need to make

each month as a minimum.  Not just a minimum to achieve

my goals, but also the absolute minimum I need to make to

pay the bills and live comfortably each month.  You should

also know both of these numbers for you.
